Welcome to my website!
It’s all about building Strong Faith and Strong Families!
I’m glad you’re here!
Parenting is one of those things that try as I might, I never feel quite prepared for. My four children are each completely different and sometimes I feel like curve balls are being thrown at me from a faulty pitching machine. If there is a parenting manual, I can’t flip to “that” section fast enough and my particular crisis certainly isn’t in there!
Can anyone relate?
Whether you are in the throws of tantrums and potty training, monitoring never ending play-dates and helping your tween navigate middle school, or having a battle of wills with an obstinate teen, I want to say,
I SEE YOU!
GOD SEES YOU!
YOU’RE DOING IT!
YOUR HARD WORK WILL PAY OFF!
I AM RIGHT HERE WITH YOU!”
There are days when I think I’ve got it all figured out and then there are days when I want to run and hide. It can be a never ending rollercoaster ride that seems lonely at times.
There are moments where I think,
“ I must be the only one who has it this rough.”
“No one else’s child acts like this.”
“Mine is the worst.”
“I am the worst.”
“ I can’t tell anybody about what just happened.”
“No one would understand and they would all judge me.”
Have you ever felt this way?
I want you to know dear friend,
You’re not alone! I see you, and more importantly God sees you and He is for you and is going to strengthen you for this journey.
No family is perfect and we are all a work in progress. Some may have easier kids than others, but you know even on the hardest days, you wouldn’t trade places with them for the world. You love your family, it’s just “hard darn work” as my husband says!
I want you to know a few things.
You are here, like it or not.
Called of God.
He is well able to equip you for the task.
It takes strong faith to keep getting up when you feel knocked down, when you feel like you have lost the battle and today was a complete failure.
God’s mercies are new every morning.
You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. (Yes, even this!)
I know you are weary and tired.
Don’t give up.
Let’s encourage one another while it is still called today.
Let’s spur each other on in our faith!
Let’s train our children up in the way they should go.
There is joy to be had in our small victories and in seeing the fruits of our labor.
Come along with me my dear friend!
We can do this!
